Family Formation Program
Family Formation is the core program of Fathers’ Support Center.
It includes the Responsible Fatherhood Project and Parenting in Partnership.
Program participants learn necessary skills for effective parenting, personal, spiritual and emotional development, substance abuse prevention and child abuse and neglect prevention. Graduates possess the foundation and start-up tools necessary to become responsible parents and productive members of their communities.
Men enrolled in our Responsible Fatherhood Project commit to a six-week, full-day, full-immersion, transforming experience. They spend weekday mornings in classroom and roundtable settings.
Parenting in Partnership (Mothers’ Project) began in 2015 to help mothers develop skills and behaviors necessary to cooperate positively with fathers in raising their children — regardless of the nature of their personal relationship. Services include parenting, childhood trauma, domestic violence communication, healthy marriages and more.
