Fathers’ Support Center  has been recognized by organizations throughout the country. Here are just a few of the awards we have received:

On Monday, January 15, 2018, CEO & Founder Halbert Sullivan received the 2018 MLK Human Rights Award presented at the 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Banquet, hosted by the St. Louis Chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists.

On Friday, January 12, 2018, CEO & Founder Halbert Sullivan received the 2018 MLK Continued Service Award presented at the St. Louis University and Urban League annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Tribute.

On Sunday, December 10, 2017,  CEO & Founder Halbert Sullivan was honored with the Humanitarian Award for Excellence in Community Service given by Wade Funeral Home at its annual gala “Celebrate, Honor, Remember” candlelight ceremony.

The St. Louis American Foundation’s 18th Annual “Salute To Business Awards & Networking Luncheon” named CEO and Founder, Halbert Sullivan, 2017 Nonprofit Executive of the Year. The award acknowledged Sullivan’s life work as founder of FSC and his significant contributions to the community and families for two decades.

FSC Founder and CEO Halbert Sullivan earned the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Partnership of Community Leadership. The award acknowledges Sullivan’s 20 years of service and exemplary leadership in fatherhood development.

The Council On Accreditation has granted accreditation to Fathers’ Support Center, only the 50th nonprofit in Missouri to be recognized out of more than 50,000 total nonprofits statewide.

FSC’s Director of Legal Services Lisl King Williams has been appointed to the 2016 Child Support Guidelines Review Subcommittee of the Missouri Supreme Court. This group analyzes testimony from Missouri residents to develop new child support guidelines.

Fathers’ Support Center named 2015 Community Builder by Bank of America in December 2015.

FSC CEO Halbert Sullivan and Executive Vice President Cheri Tillis honored as part of the 2015 Missouri Reentry Conference in October 2015.

FSC was honored with the Louise de Marillac Award at the Daughters of Charity Mission and Ministry Conference in October 2015

Director of Youth Services, Aaron Harris, received an award from St. Louis Job Corps for his team’s work mentoring the participants in the Job Corps program in May 2015.

FSC was honored to be a part of the For the Sake of All Forum: Investing in Early Childhood event held at the National Center for Parents as Teachers in March 2015

FSC CEO Halbert Sullivan was part of an expert panel for the Builidng Bridges and Bonds Study hosted by U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and the Administration for Children and Families also in February 2015

The Leadership Partners Award. The award was presented to FSC in February 2015 by the Royal Vagabonds Foundation

Monsanto Family YMCA Social Responsiblity Award for building stronger communities was presented Feb. 21, 2015, at the Tuxedo & Tennis Gala at the American Center

Fathers’ Support Center was presented the Community Collaborator Award from the Myrtle Hilliard Davis Comprehensive Health Centers, Inc. at their 45th Anniversary Celebration in October 2014

FSC Recognized as the Model for the Nation by renowned researcher Dr. David Pate, of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee/Center for Family Policy and Practice

FSC CEO Halbert Sullivan received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University

The President’s Volunteer Service Award, presented in 2013 by the national organization of Fathers & Families Coalition of America.

2013 Leader in Child Abuse Prevention for our efforts to prevent child abuse in Missouri. 

Voted the Best Worthy Cause by the Riverfront Times in 2012

The Governors Award for Service Excellence, presented by the Governor of The State of Missouri, Division of Workforce Development in 2008

Outstanding Community Service Award, presented by North County Cares in 2004

Exemplary Service to the Community Award, presented by The George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in 2003

Courage in Action Practitioner Award, presented by the National Practitioners Network for Fathers and Families in Washington, D.C. in 2002
