Position Description:

Position Description:

  • Become acquainted with youth curriculum and be able to tailor curriculum to meet the needs of each individual.
  • Prepare and submit for review sessions at assigned schools on a consistent basis.
  • Present educational materials, information, and outlets to youth on social issues that they are faced with on a regular basis (self-esteem, values, teen pregnancy prevention, substance abuse awareness, peer pressure, violence prevention, and other related topics)
  • Interview youths to assess situations, capabilities, and problems to determine services that meet their needs.
  • Serve as liaison between youths, home, school, family services, courts, and others to help resolve youth issues and daily life problems.

  • Assists in administering the FFSC fatherhood curriculum and expands fatherhood knowledge in the FFSC classroom and Father’s Rap sessions

The primary functions of the Data Specialist is to maintain the company databases; and provide the primary desktop and software-related technical support for problem resolution. Must have the ability to design and analyze surveys, build data collection systems, and manage data. May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

  • Oversees day-to-day integrity of database and database procedures
  • Works in conjunction with the data team to develop and produce accurate and timely routine and special reports
  • Completes requested data retrievals for staff as needed
  • Accountable for the accuracy and integrity of all data files; performs data entry and oversees the data entry process; recommends policies, procedures, and guidelines for data entry
  • Manages data acquisitions such as FFSC’s client mailing list
  • Trains staff on the use of the company’s standard software applications and databases
  • Specify users and user access levels for each segment of database
  • Provides in-house expertise and technical support to end-users on database and software-related issues

The Facilitator is responsible for administering the FFSC curriculum to fathers in the program, completing an assessment of each father, facilitating group/individual sessions and scheduling and maintaining a calendar of events for each 6-week session.

  • Facilitate/administer the FFSC fatherhood curriculum and expand fatherhood knowledge in the FFSC classroom and the Father’s Rap session
  • The administration of and electronic database entry of class attendance by each participant
  • Assists clients with personal and professional development
  • Has an awareness of the personal needs of clients and makes referrals as necessary to fulfill basic needs
  • Weekly monitoring of case management for clients
  • Facilitates all scheduled classroom activities
  • Facilitates the completion of client monthly reporting

  • Assists clients in job search and placement opportunities through the job placement program and provides training in job search and interview techniques to clients of FSC
  • Ensures that graduates and employers have completed all necessary paperwork and distributed
    appropriately, i.e. employment verification form
  • Meets regularly with the case management team to review employment and educational/vocational status of all participants, current and past
  • Submits regular reports to the Coordinator of Employment Services detailing the employment/educational status of all graduates and all other activities including employer contracts and client job performance evaluations

  • Completes drug screening, police and abuse records check

Plan, direct, or coordinate accounting, banking, insurance, securities, and other financial activities for nonprofit agency.
