👻 Spooktacular Skills & Sweet Success with YLDP! 🧁

Our Youth Leadership & Development Program (YLDP) took teamwork to a terrifyingly tasty level with the DYS Halloween Cupcake Challenge! 🎃

Forget boring group projects—our youth were whisked into the kitchen for a hands-on adventure, learning everything from measuring ingredients to safely prepping batter for the oven. 🧑‍🍳

Then came the main event: a team decorating showdown! With colored frosting, spooky sprinkles, edible spiders, and owls, the groups unleashed their creativity to design the ultimate Halloween treats. The final displays were a scream—some scary, some silly, but all fantastic!

This wasn’t just about baking; it was a powerful exercise in:

  • 🧠 Responsibility & Patience
