11th annual Sold-Out Pull For Fathers, $162K+ Raised

Thank you for making FFSC’s 11th Annual Pull for Fathers Sporting Clays Tournament a massive success!

With a completely sold-out event at Strathalbyn Farms Club on Friday, August 28, your support helped us raise more than $162K. Every dollar goes toward furthering our work to help low-income fathers build positive, active relationships with their children.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better day. All 56 shooters enjoyed picture-perfect conditions, thanks to the hard work and flawless planning of our committee: Chairman Jim Blair, Vice Chair Rodney Bahr, Past Chair Todd Keske, and of course, our “Weather Chair,” Steve Maritz.

A huge congratulations goes out to all the top sharpshooters and standout teams at this year’s event! Taking top honors in the individual competition, Bill DeMerucio secured 1st Place Individual with a score of 93 after winning a sharp tiebreaker, just edging out runner-up Kyle Donahue (93), while Todd Keske grabbed 3rd Place Individual with a 91 (also via tiebreaker). In the team events, team John Kang claimed 1st Place Men’s Team with a remarkable combined score of 331, driven by Kyle Donahue (93), Jim Blair (91), Fred Moore (83), and John Kang (64). Meanwhile, team Sharon Kang & Anna Blair delivered a fantastic overall effort to capture 1st Place Women’s Team with a 297 total score, powered by Carol Amos (79), Anna Blair (76), Lucinda Moore (73), and Sharon Kang (69). Hats off to all of these champions for an outstanding day of marksmanship!

Ultimately, our outcomes benefit children. Celebrating 28 years of serving fathers and families,FFSC has helped transform nearly 23,000 fathers into more responsible parents for over 57,000 children in our community.

Thank you for all you do for our community, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
